  • Note:
    1. Parents are requested not to go directly to the class to meet the teachers.
    2. Casual Visits to view the school are not allowed during school hours as this could disrupt classroom teaching.
    3. Please contact the school reception for queries regarding Fee, Transport, Uniform etc.
    4. Half Day leave will not be granted to any student, unless it is inevitable / emergency.

School Uniform

The School Uniform is a discipline in itself and should be adhered to by all the scholars. The set pattern and colour should be followed. All scholars are expected to wear the School Uniform as specified by school. Parents are expected to ensure that their wards are in proper School Uniform before they leave for School every day, during examinations, any organized picnic/tours/excursions, official functions, School PTS Meet, Inter-School participation etc.
However, any scholar seeking to be exempted from the set pattern due to health or personal reason may seek permission of the Principal in writing from the parents.

School Regular Uniform : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
School Sports Uniform : Wednesday
Primary, Middle & Secondary Section (1st to 10th)
School Regular Uniform : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

HOUSE SYSTEM

The entire school community is divided into four Houses. They are Aster, Orchid, Tulip and Zinnia. Each House has a House Master / Mistress and tutors to guide the students; to foster a spirit of leadership, Co-operation, mutual understanding tolerance and self-reliance.
Various Inter House activities are organized to build up team spirit. Besides this, the students are initiated into community service and social work. The House System gives opportunities to scholars’ to face the challenges of Inter- House Competitions as well as competitions organized by various other reputed schools.
The House system begins at primary level and is carefully monitored at every stage and the details are recorded at every step. More than just a House Master / Mistress, the tutor keeps on eye on his/her tutorial group. The House Master / Mistress and tutors act as a link in LAKSHYA UNIVERSAL ACADEMY system acting as friends, philosophers and guides. Various activities such as dramatics, elocution, quiz, group dance, declamation, rangoli, poetic recitation, and singing are organized not only to tap the talents of the children but to widen the horizon of the LAKSHYiansin every field. Morning Assemblies are also conducted House wise.

Attendance

It is obligatory for all the students to complete 85% attendance before every examination to make them eligible to sit for the examination. Annual a Certificate of 100% Attendance is awarded to scholars’ on Class wise basis.
Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than then consecutive days renders the scholar liable to have his / her name struck off the rolls; readmission may be granted only on payment of fresh Admission Fee provided the vacancy still exists.
All children are expected to attend the school on the opening day after every vacation and must be present on the last day before the School closes for the vacation. Those absent because of any ailment must submit a Medical Certificate.

Absence Rules
It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to call the school every time a child is absent.
It is recognized that absence from school is necessary under certain conditions. 

Every effort must be made to keep absences, interruptions, and tardiness to a minimum

” First time late coming; verbal warning will be given.

” Second time late coming; written warning will be given, parents are informed.
” Third time late coming; student will be considered absent for 1 day.
In case of being absent the rules below is carried out: (Unless they have an excuse)
” 2 days absence of school, parents are informed.
” 6 days absence of school, verbal warning will be given.
” 9 days absence of school, written warning will be given.
” 12 days absence of school, final written warning will be given.
” 15 days absence of school student will be expelled from the school.

Library System & its Rules

An excellent Library with vast set of encyclopedias, biographies of eminent personalities, story books to ‘promote moral values and reference books etc. with valuable information are available under open shelf system to all students. The students are encouraged to use these Library resources to increase their knowledge and develop an attitude of devotion towards work and their qualities of character. It is our Endeavour to develop good reading habits in each and every student to help them discover themselves and adopt higher ideas of life besides helping them in the choice of a useful career. This Library also subscribes to various newspapers, periodicals and magazines relevant for the children of all age groups to keep them updated with current issues and new events.
Through structured assignments and homework requiring additional reference books from the Library a constant, self-learning attitude is developed in the children.

Rules of Library

All students of the school are members of the library.
A student can borrow only one book at a time for a period of two weeks.
Books will be issued to the students, during the library periods. No book will be issued or returned during the teaching hours.
Marking, underlining or writing on library books is strictly forbidden.
Reference books and current periodicals will not be issued to any student. These can be read only in the library room.
If the books are not returned within a specified time it will be viewed seriously and fine will be charged as per rules.
The librarian may call for a book at any time, even if the normal period of loan has not expired.
In case of book is misused, wrongly handled or lost the person concerned will have to replace the book or pay the full price of the book.
A ‘No Dues Certificate’ by each student is to be obtained from the librarian while withdrawing any student from the school.
Strict order and silence shall be maintained in the library.
